No longer included are the Costuming building and Pearl Harbor sets, and the tour now follows the same route for its entire length between the two loop-backs at Catastrophe Canyon and Reign of Fire. The items from the former Props Boneyard have mostly disappeared, with some of the space along the new route filled by the vehicles and planes from the old Pearl Harbor scene.

The tour now has even longer lulls between scenes and is frequently criticised by fans and guests alike.

A last-minute phone call brings none other than Lilo & Stitch to the set for a musical party under the sun!

This video was filmed on the show’s final weekend. It was “replaced” in 2008 with the opening of the ‘Stitch Live!’ interactive animation show.

The classmates of East High come to France for a fun-filled vacation, showcasing their team spirit and basketball moves in a lively street show featuring all the hit songs from the Disney Channel original movie.

This new pre-show, appearing unscheduled before select performances of the Martin Short and Julie Delpy film show, was introduced in early 2007 using the musicians previously found in various locations within Disney Studio 1.

Like an old-fashioned movie palace, the jazzy live performers help to engage the crowd before the main spectacle begins.

This video captures the work at its maddest point, including some of the Toon Town hills being lowered in by crane. Through the drilling, an alternate new music loop for Toon Studio can also be heard, tested for a few days before disappearing forever.

Filmed at twilight, this video shows a unique ride-through of the tour in the dark, including the earthquake drama of Catastrophe Canyon and the darkness of a London hit by fire-breathing dragons!

Things go from bad to worse when Cruella rips up the contract, only to realise that Walt Disney Studios preferred her “double” to herself, and Hollywood has come calling!

Originally launched in 2005, this is the second version of the show in 2006, which features a tighter story, new tricks and a lot of impressive new acrobatics from the “Cruella Boys”. High School Musical took its place from 2007 onwards.
