One of the most important aspects of a press event at Disneyland Resort Paris is the material the resort gives to its invited press and journalists. If they produce good quality work, they’re more likely to be given a mention in various media across Europe. With that in mind, we’re looking at the final fruits of the press event - the full set of publicity photos - and you can tell us how well they did…

Chances to see Walt Disney Studios Park in darkness are usually restricted to the cold Winter months, when the limited sun sets in the afternoon and guests are treated to the park at its very best, illuminated by colourful studio lighting from all angles. Luckily, we don’t have to wait until October to be the first to see Toon Studio under the magical spell of darkness…

Opening ceremonies complete, it was time for Toon Studio to put on a show. As the VIP guests (along with press and other invitees) stepped onto the new studio lot this past saturday, they were met with countless characters, live music, themed barbeques and unlimited rides on the three main ‘film set’ attractions… but did anyone know who they were?

Another year, another flashy attraction ‘inauguration’ ceremony… times at Disneyland Resort Paris have certainly changed! Whilst Tower of Terror may have loomed ahead with its size and stature, it was always the “Toons” project that seemed the most interesting from the 2005 announcement. Over two years on, it’s here, it’s complete, and it’s time to experience the grand opening…

A whole 879 days since the project was announced in January 2005, opening day for Toon Studio arrived! Last weekend, 9th June, saw an unprecedented number of guests flood through the gates of Walt Disney Studios Park, rush through Disney Studio 1 and wait eagerly on Disney Bros Plaza for the grand opening ceremony to begin…

No, that’s not some wildly inaccurate height restriction for Crush’s Coaster you see beside this item - it’s a countdown. As eager fans and guests arrived at Disneyland Resort Paris on 9th June for the official public inauguration of Toon Studio and its two new attractions, they thought the countdown was finally over… infact, it will continue each and every day this Summer!

Part 3. Continued from Part 2. It’s the third and final part of our tour through Walt Disney Studios‘ own Radiator Springs at the new Cars Race Rally, and finally we reach the ride itself. Only the Disney Imagineers could turn what most say is “just a tea cups ride” into something which takes three articles to take a brief tour through. Anyway, this is where the real fun begins — ready to join the spinout?

Part 2. Continued from Part 1. Let’s hit the road again and head back over to Radiator Springs, the cutest little town in Carburetor County! And, as we now step inside the ‘Visitor Center’ of this faux movie set, it looks like the motor vehicle townspeople are quite keen for us to experience the warm welcome of that cute little town. Through information boards, props, and countless ‘in-jokes’, the spirit of Route 66 is all around…

Part 1. The Photos Magiques team reports “live” from Walt Disney Studios Park that Cars Quatre Roues Rallye has been open for guests this morning, giving everyone at the park a chance to ride the first and only attraction based on Pixar’s hit 2006 film - less than 12 months after it originally premiered! So, there seems no better time for us to continue our Toon Studio photo tour and step into the world of Radiator Springs…

The Toons are almost ready to go public! What do you need before a premiere? A test screening! This weekend, an opening in the blue construction fences of Toon Studio appeared and more than 2,000 invited guests got the chance to sample its two new attractions and unique themeing. Not only that, but some new Cast Member costumes and the first appearance of the land’s brand new logo!

Soon, Route 66 from Chicago to LA won’t be the only place to get your kicks. Turning its attentions away from Crush’s Coaster, the official 15th Anniversary Blog has released a new video featuring two short interviews with Imagineers working on Cars Race Rally, also featuring a look at a never-before-seen maquette for the much-discussed Radiator Springs queue buildings.

As the grand opening of Walt Disney Studios’ two new attractions edges ever nearer, everything is pointing to the Toons - quite literally. Entrance signs for both attractions are now in place as their area development grows and Animagique glows in a bright shade of blue, whilst Sorcerer Mickey prepares to point his wand.

Ready to join the rush for Crush? It’s hard to believe after all these months of construction that, in less than one month, Crush’s Coaster will have already welcomed its first turtle shell passengers and Cars Race Rally will have already kicked up more than a few handfuls of desert dust. Phase 2 of the 15th has begun, and the infamous Red Carpet is back…
