(5.04.2008 - 3:00pm) The presents are wrapped, the guests have arrived. It’s time to officially launch the 2008 season at Disneyland Resort Paris and relaunch the second gate, Walt Disney Studios Park, with its fourth new attraction of the celebration.

‘Stitch Live!’ is quickly finding its way into the cogs and workings of Disneyland Resort Paris, today revealing a new “key visual” and already boasting its own website page — with some late concept art.
Saturday, 22nd March saw the official opening of the new Stitch Live! at Walt Disney Studios Park. The attraction welcomed its first official guests as a Hawaiian fanfare preceded the day’s parades.
‘Stitch Live!’, has just enjoyed its first weekend of Annual Passport previews — but not before Euro Disney CEO, Karl Holz, dropped by the first tests. Tour the attraction here with a full report and the first pictures from inside.
The countdown to broadcast continues… but Stitch isn’t taking any chances. For over a week, the resort’s Cast Members have been invited to test out his new ‘Live!’ Disney Channel show and now, it’s over to us!
Just weeks remain before Stitch Live! opens to the public, completing the Studios’ quartet of anniversary attractions. With the show now in final rehearsals inside, it’s time to switch on lights and new electronic signs outside.
Advertising boards around the resort’s central areas have been updated once again, with new designs to promote the arrival of ‘Stitich Live!’ in less than one month from now.
The 15th Anniversary is coming to an end… Well, not quite! ‘The Celebration Continues… Big Time!’ as the anniversary is extended by another year and a spectacular new TV commercial is launched today…!
The letters of ‘Stitch Live!’ have now arrived on the new signage of Walt Disney Television Studios in bold blue and red colours, completing a retro-styled entrance sign for the attraction which appears to thoroughly embrace the kitsch conventions of the 1950s and ’60s.
The large new entrance sign for Stitch Live began installation at Walt Disney Studios Park today! And, as a lone toon outside of Toon Studio, Stitch has turned to a more strictly American and certainly 1950s style to find place in the future Hollywood…
Connecting from Paris to outer space for a live interview with a lovable blue alien sounds like a lot of fun, but there are practicalities involved… the TV broadcasting equipment, for example. Yes, though the show is only ’simple’ CGI wizardry, WDI never miss a good storytelling opportunity…
So, you still want more new attractions at Walt Disney Studios Park? Maybe want to see some of Disney’s fresher-faced heroes in the spotlight, such as the stars of the Playhouse Disney channel? Sit tight until 2009, and it seems like you’ll be in luck!
