So the next big new attraction at Walt Disney Studios Park will just be a straight clone of the Californian version, will it? No, not quite… This third edition of The Twilight Zone Tower of Terror has arrived in Paris via Tokyo DisneySea no less, and it looks as if a little of that Japanese park’s infamous eye for detail has already rubbed off on the façade of our future Hollywood Tower Hotel…

There’s no Mary Poppins connection, but these rooftops certainly are a sight. From plain steel frames surrounding The Hollywood Tower Hotel, two buildings on the future Hollywood Boulevard have suddenly leaped ahead with their own themed rooftops already in place. Apparently, the realism of these “movie sets” even stretches to a speedy construction!

Our updates for The Twilight Zone Tower of Terror seem to have been lost in that infamous 5th Dimension lately. So, from now on, we solemnly promise to report every lick of paint, every terracotta roof tile and every piece of cracked brickwork added to the Tower. Well, almost. After all, it’s not every year we have a $160million, 183-ft tall E-Ticket opening at Walt Disney Studios, is it?

Some tragic news from Disneyland Resort Paris has been spreading across several news sources this morning. A 14-year old Spanish girl was found unconscious after riding Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster starring Aerosmith yesterday, and although the park’s medical teams rushed to revive her, the girl had already passed away when an ambulance arrived. The attraction closed immediately and will remain closed until the exact cause of death has been determined.

The varied ensemble of Hollywood Boulevard buildings around the mighty Tower of Terror continues to provide us with an excellent supporting cast for the main player. Brilliant to watch, ever-changing and sometimes quite unpredictable - construction has taken another huge leap since our last update just a couple of weeks ago.

A new feature on the official Disneyland Resort Paris website has been causing a bit of a stir in the past few days, allowing visitors to help decide the name of the new interactive Stitch attraction at Walt Disney Studios Park - formerly referred to as ‘Stitch Encounter‘ from its original Hong Kong Disneyland name. This is your chance to help name the new studio attraction!

Chances to see Walt Disney Studios Park in darkness are usually restricted to the cold Winter months, when the limited sun sets in the afternoon and guests are treated to the park at its very best, illuminated by colourful studio lighting from all angles. Luckily, we don’t have to wait until October to be the first to see Toon Studio under the magical spell of darkness…

Rats from the sewers of Paris have infested the new Toon Studio area of Walt Disney Studios Park. The infestation became clear during the press event to mark the opening of the new land, when… wait - these are just Pixar characters! It’s time to meet the newest members of the Disney character family, as Rémy and Emile arrive in Marne-la-Vallée.

Opening ceremonies complete, it was time for Toon Studio to put on a show. As the VIP guests (along with press and other invitees) stepped onto the new studio lot this past saturday, they were met with countless characters, live music, themed barbeques and unlimited rides on the three main ‘film set’ attractions… but did anyone know who they were?

Another year, another flashy attraction ‘inauguration’ ceremony… times at Disneyland Resort Paris have certainly changed! Whilst Tower of Terror may have loomed ahead with its size and stature, it was always the “Toons” project that seemed the most interesting from the 2005 announcement. Over two years on, it’s here, it’s complete, and it’s time to experience the grand opening…

It’s time to “Bop bop bop, bop to the top!” as the High School Musical phenomenon has well and truly arrived at Disneyland Resort Paris! This Summer’s brand new street show premiered this weekend during the Toon Studio press events to fantastic reaction from guests, showcasing a lively mix of basketball, cheerleaders, singing and school romance five times a day.
