The Celebration Continues… with a new President!

We’re cutting into our ‘Celebration Continues’ coverage already to bring some major breaking news today: Karl Holz, Chairman and CEO of Euro Disney SAS is to leave his role in September 2008, making way for a brand new President, Philippe Gas.

Stitch goes Live in March - dates announced

05-stitchlive-00.jpgStitch Live, the fourth attraction of the 15th year will reportedly open on 22nd March 2008, giving Disneyland Resort Paris the impressive claim to opening four major new attractions within the space of nine months. And, this being a “live” production, there’ll be the chance to see many real rehearsals in the weeks before.

Forget the parade, what about the napkins?

New attractions and new parades are all well and good, but there’s no doubt what really makes a Disney anniversary year a “year to be here” - at least for the fans. The decorations, the atmosphere, and all the assorted customised items you can collect during your visit to bring home as free souvenirs, available for one year only! Already, the 15th Anniversary branding has spread a long way across the resort…

Stitch Encounter: confirmed

The current Cast Member forum isn’t just giving details on the anniversary-centred events - it’s also giving some welcome confirmations about the future attractions. Most welcome: the confirmation of Stitch Encounter, the live CGI show attraction to replace the tour of Walt Disney Television Studios in early 2008.

Cast Member rendez-vous of dreams

The 15th Anniversary Celebration party has begun already for the resort’s Cast Members, with a special rendez-vous gathering bringing the confirmation of countless elements of the festivities. The candle ceremony, character parade, new name badges, a dedicated website, more Kids Free and a preview of the new parade theme song were amongst the early gifts.
