Mickey's Magical Party
Status: Confirmed Dates: Late March 2009 - March 2010
The successful 15th Anniversary Celebration will be followed-up by the new ‘Mickey’s Magical Party’, a year-long event of parties and celebrations across both parks — with characters new and old — in honour of Mickey Mouse’s 80th birthday.
Also incorporates the new ‘Playhouse Disney: Live on Stage’ and ‘Disney Stars ‘n’ Cars Event’ at Walt Disney Studios Park.

The few months Walt Disney Studios Park spent without any construction fences earlier this year were brief to say the least. Now, the fences are back — preparing a new entrance for 2009’s Playhouse Disney: Live on Stage.

On Monday, Disney Cinema Parade took its final bow. Today, official confirmation that Florida’s Stars & Motor Cars Parade will be its successor has finally come from within Disney. What’s more — it sounds like the Pixar Play Parade could be its successor!

Confirmed: Three weeks from now, the main parade of Walt Disney Studios will cease production for good. After 5 years 10 months and 2129 performances (or thereabouts), Disney Cinema Parade will call out “That’s a wrap!” for the final time.

Ending years of speculation, Walt Disney World have announced the new name — Disney’s Hollywood Studios — and a package of new additions to relaunch the renamed park. We just welcomed the new parade for the 15th Anniversary - so is that it? The way things are going, certainly not. The rumours which took flight way back in January 2006 have suddenly taken another step closer to truth, as time is called once again on the run of Disney Stars & Motor Cars Parade in Florida…
