On Monday, Disney Cinema Parade took its final bow. Today, official confirmation that Florida’s Stars & Motor Cars Parade will be its successor has finally come from within Disney. What’s more — it sounds like the Pixar Play Parade could be its successor!

Confirmed: Three weeks from now, the main parade of Walt Disney Studios will cease production for good. After 5 years 10 months and 2129 performances (or thereabouts), Disney Cinema Parade will call out “That’s a wrap!” for the final time.

With Christmas Season now just days away, the full lineup for the first festive edition of Disney’s Once Upon a Dream Parade has been confirmed. The parade will indeed remain intact throughout the entire festive season, joined by a special finale of… you guessed it, Christmas dreams!

In pictures. The first, extended season of High School Musical On Tour at Walt Disney Studios Park came to a close with one final performance this Monday, featuring one very special guest: Corbin Bleu, star of both the original film, its mega-hit sequal and “Jump In!”, another hit Disney Channel movie.

If you haven’t already heard, Disney-MGM Studios is now officially no more. For only the third time in their history (following EPCOT Center and Euro Disneyland) Disney are renaming an entire park. Ending years of speculation, Walt Disney World have announced the new name — Disney’s Hollywood Studios — and a package of new additions to relaunch the renamed park. But what does this mean for Paris?

A new press release has just been published confirming the main events for the 2007 Disney’s Halloween Festival. As expected, it’s a Halloween with a twist - the Pumpkinmen, Pink Witches, Stitch and the Disney Villains all return, but they’re going to be vying for attention against the regular 15th events, apparently continuing as normal. So no Maleficent dancing to “Tous en train!” then, sorry.

We’ve already seen the two sides to the storybook dream just a day earlier, as the press enjoyed a perfect show at the cost of the general public, but, with the press departed and the sun shining, nothing can possibly go wrong… or can it?

The Disney Characters’ Express is coming!” With a *choo choo*, a puff of smoke and a frenzied pace, the familiar Casey Jr train rolls into view, with a gleaming new look and some very special passengers. (31/03/2007 - 15:05) Disney’s Once Upon a Dream Parade officially premiered to much fanfare following the official anniversary launch ceremony. But they say there are two sides to every story, and this storybook parade is no different. Whilst the press received a “Once upon a dream” experience, for the rest of the parade route - and for the cast - it was more “Once upon a nightmare”.

(31/03/2007 - 11:00) The official press premiere of Disney Characters’ Express starring Miley Cyrus (Hannah Montana) was met by a line of frenzied camera crews and reporters, whilst being watched over by entertainment vice president François Leroux. Amongst the rush, it was “All Aboard!” and no meet ‘n’ greets for guests…
