(1/04/2007 - 16:00) It’s the official first day performance of Disney’s Once Upon a Dream Parade! We’ve already seen the two sides to the storybook dream just a day earlier, as the press enjoyed a perfect show at the cost of the general public, but, with the press departed and the sun shining, nothing can possibly go wrong… or can it?

(1/04/2007 - 12:45) “Attention! Le petit train des personnages arrive! The Disney Characters’ Express is coming!” With a *choo choo*, a puff of smoke and a frenzied pace, the familiar Casey Jr train rolls into view, with a gleaming new look and some very special passengers. No, the characters don’t line every street in the parks, but with Disney Characters’ Express and a host of extra meet ‘n’ greets, there’s certainly more life in Disneyland Paris than usual. And so, we continue our stroll through the park from the Castle’s character statues to some real-life Disney stars…

With the main anniversary launch events completed and the press faded into the background, guests are free to enjoy the fruits of the 15th Anniversary. Beginning a series of in-depth photo articles covering all of the initial anniversary offerings, we present the Character Castle Makeover - up-close and from across the park.

(1/04/2007 - 09:55) The first official day of the 15th Anniversary Celebration begins under Main Street Station or inside Disney Studio 1 with an early indication of the party about to begin, as Park Guide maps for both parks switch to a new 15th Anniversary design… and one makes its future very public.

(31/03/2007 - 21:30) As the last firework from the spectacular, “deluxe” Candleabration performance exploded, the press and VIPs were already on their way to the next - and final - stop on their busy day in Disneyland… an exclusive event and dinner in Frontierland.

(31/03/2007 - 21:10) Well, here we are. The VIPs have mingled, the fans have waited, Daniel Powter has performed - there’s only one thing left for guests: an extra-special Candleabration, and an incredible, breathtaking fireworks display. Also included here is a photo tour of the new, illuminated 15th Anniversary Main Street.

(31/03/2007 - 20:50) As daylight faded, the crowd buzzed and the press mingled. The park closing announcement invited guests to stay behind in Main Street, to join in the launch of the 15th Anniversary and enjoy a very special Candleabration. First on the spectacular evening line-up: Daniel Powter, performing two live songs on Central Plaza.

(31/03/2007 - 16:10) Continuing the trend for the 15th Anniversary to outdo all that has come before, a bumper motley crew of press and “celebrities” descended on the resort come March 31st, and luckily, for once, the “VIP” count almost outnumbered the “Who are they?” count…

(31/03/2007 - 15:05) Disney’s Once Upon a Dream Parade officially premiered to much fanfare following the official anniversary launch ceremony. But they say there are two sides to every story, and this storybook parade is no different. Whilst the press received a “Once upon a dream” experience, for the rest of the parade route - and for the cast - it was more “Once upon a nightmare”.

(31/03/2007 - 15:00) The 15th Anniversary and Disney’s Once Upon a Dream Parade was launched with a bang, as balloons and confetti filled the air, a marching band jazzed up the rainy day and Mickey invited some very special guests to introduce the “Once upon a dream” of 15 magical years in Paris.

(31/03/2007 - 14:45) A marching band! A special anniversary float! A sea of blue and yellow-dressed volunteers! The pre-parade before the official premiere of Disney’s Once Upon a Dream Parade created a buzz not felt for years, as Disney classics belted out of the live band and hundreds of Disney VoluntEARS waved to the crowds.

(31/03/2007 - 11:00) The official press premiere of Disney Characters’ Express starring Miley Cyrus (Hannah Montana) was met by a line of frenzied camera crews and reporters, whilst being watched over by entertainment vice president François Leroux. Amongst the rush, it was “All Aboard!” and no meet ‘n’ greets for guests…

(31/03/2007 - 10:30) The CD Single of ‘Just Like We Dreamed It’ appears on the shelves of The Storybook Store and Emporium for the first time! Featuring the full song and a full instrumental, the CD also gives more information about the production of the song - and the chance of more 15th Anniversary music releases still to come.
