Disneyland Resort Paris has extended its year-long 15th Anniversary Celebration. Originally launched on 1st April 2007 and due to close on 31st March 2008, the celebration is now confirmed to continue through the entire 2008 season, with travel brochures already pushing the extension.

The park closing announcement invited guests to stay behind in Main Street, to join in the launch of the 15th Anniversary and enjoy a very special Candleabration. The 15th Anniversary Celebration party has begun already for the resort’s Cast Members, with a special rendez-vous gathering bringing the confirmation of countless elements of the festivities. The candle ceremony, character parade, new name badges, a dedicated website, more Kids Free and a preview of the new parade theme song were amongst the early gifts.

The second article in Le Parisien’s backstage look at preparations for the 15th Anniversary once again reveals more new details about the upcoming celebration. This time focusing on the castle decorations, it introduces Daniel Delcourt, head of the project, and features one stand-out detail - that the statues won’t be full-colour, but rather: gold.
