One year ago this week, we were all flustered and caught up in the excitement of Toon Studio, a project that not only introduced two new attractions to Walt Disney Studios Park but promised to rewrite the mistakes of its old Animation Courtyard area…

Buildings got new colours, Flying Carpets got new plants and the land got a new entrance marquee. However, plans to add flower beds and a fountain outside Animagique were cancelled, the grey/black chequerboard flooring was more than controversial, several statues recycled from Walt Disney World never appeared on the façade of Art of Disney Animation and the parade route continues to slice through the area.

One year on, are we happy how it all turned out?
