Have lived in Santa Fe twice.

You get what you pay for. Last time me and my buddy lived here, we lived in a room that was located close to Disney Village, so we thought it was easier to go to the parks rather than to go and take the bus.

Breakfast at the hotel could well have been a little more variety, like the rough bread. We found only white bread.

Try and get an early slot on the breakfast, since it is not so much people and better place, and that you get better time in the parks.

Santa Fe was cheap (we think once you take out the cost of park tickets the hotel was pretty much free) and did what we needed it too - it was a place to sleep. Was clean enough although did later find used tissues under the bed.

Had to collect extra pillows from reception as they only provide one per person.

Breakfast was okay but could of done with a little more choice, there was plenty of croissants, pain au chocolat, rolls, toast, cereals, jam, tinned fruit salad, cold meat and 2 cheeses but could of done with fresh fruit or some different pastries maybe. Still pile the tray high and you don't have to eat a big lunch! There was a queue at 8:15 but was much quieter at 7:30.

The theming isn't up to much, it is really just large concrete buildings and I wasn't sure if the flowerbeds were desert themed or a bit dead looking!

The walk to the parks vis Disney Village was easy and took us less than 15 minutes in the nice weather, didn't bother using the shuttle buses at all.

Disney Express was worth using, was great to just leave bags at the station and collect them at the hotel even though we didn't get to hotel until 11:30 after the day the park.

It's a cheap hotel so expect it to be basic and there's very little 'disney feel', but if you plan to spend as much time as possible in the parks and just need base camp then it's perfect! Clean rooms, nice big beds, lovely shower and great breakfast - it was perfect for us. There is always a character or two around in the mornings for the children and the staff were all very helpful. It's the furthest hotel from the park, but even that's still close, the shuttle takes hardly any time at all!

Breakfast gets busy if you're going after 7.30am/8am but the buffet itself is large. Grab a bunch of rolls or croissants for a cheap lunch in the parks later! Overall we went with low expectations and were very pleasantly surprised!

This is certainly quite basic but was clean, tidy and had everything we needed as a base for our trip.

The queue for breakfast even at 7:30 in the morning were very, very long. In fact the first morning it seemed so daunting that we almost didn't queue. However, we did wait and the queue moved surprisingly quickly and it took about 15 or 20 minutes to get seated.

In one review they said that it was too far to walk to the park, this is really not true, there are signs saying it is a 25 minute walk but it was more like 10 to 15 minutes depending on pace and a very pleasant walk along the river. This is a much better option than the bus if you have small children, it was a real bundle to get on the bus and you can get a little crushed if you are not careful.

So, 8 out of 10 because in a nutshell is clean, has everything you need and you can walk to the park. Good enough for me, however, we are off in a few weeks to Hotel New York so will get a chance to see if the extra money is worth it.

My sister and I stayed at Santa Fe a couple of times since 1992. At first the rooms were nice and tidy. Last year we stayed at Santa Fe for the last time I guess..We were not so lucky with the room we got. It was one on the ground floor, sadly the furniture was a bit old and the carpet was dirty. In general there is nothing wrong with the hotel, but the rooms need some work. The themeing is nice, but it is not the most cosy hotel Disney has to offer.

Breakfast has improved over the years, the choice of food is a bit wider. Last time I could even choose waffles! Breakfast is very busy though. And another drawback is the long walk to the park, you really do need the shuttle bus, which doesn´t add to the Disney magic.

If you do not have a lot of money to spend, but still want to visit DLRP Santa Fe is oke, but this summer we will stay at our favourite hotel Newport Bay Club again!

Myself and my three girls stayed at the Santa Fe in Feb 2009, along with a friend and her son. We had adjoining rooms.

On the first night I noticed something on the pillow my daughter was sleeping on. I flicked it onto the floor without really looking at it.

The next night I saw more insects on the bed and realized that they were bedbugs! I phoned reception and we were moved to different rooms - no apology, nothing. My children and myself were really freaked about these bedbugs and we could not enjoy the rest of our time in the hotel.

At checkout I left a letter of complaint but have had no reply.

I am really worried in case I have brought the bugs home with me (this does happen) as they are really hard to get rid of - a pest control company needs to be used - this costs a lot of money which I am sure Disney will not pay. Also, I had to throw out my suitcases and boil wash all clothes - some of which are not suited to boiling.

I know it is supposed to look like the Native Indian town of Santa Fe but the place looks really rundown. We had a dark, small room that had little themeing. The place needed a good clean. We felt that this was one of the worst looking Disney hotels we had ever stayed in.

Would avoid it in favour of other hotels in future.

We have just returned from our first visit to Eurodisney Paris. I had read mixed reviews on the Santa Fe. We went not expecting too much - as it was the most affordable disney hotel. We were happy with the hotel. Our room was clean, the staff were more than helpful.

We spent most of our day at the parks we returned to our room at 9pm and went to bed. We didn't have our evening meal at the hotel didn't look very appealing, we ate at the Chuck Wagon at hotel Cheyenne. It was lovely. Cost dependent we may book there next time.

We have stayed twice at Santa Fe hotel, first 2007 and again in January this year. Both times were great.

Hotel is always quiet and clean, staff really helpful. The only downside is 2 double beds and when your children are older that can cause problems!

We are going back to Disney again in January 2009 but staying at the Hotel Cheyenne this time for a little change.

Stayed at the Santa Fe during the Easter Holiday 2008, this was our first visit to this hotel after staying in all the others (except Davy Crocket), we were pleasantly surprised. We didn't expect too much, after all it is the cheapest. We were lucky to be in a block that was close to the main facilities and on the first floor, I may have felt differently if we had been in one of the more remote blocks or on a higher floor (no lifts).

There was a long queue for breakfast from 8am but if you were earlier than that it wasn't too bad, the breakfast was simple, my daughter was disappointed at the lack of apple juice, but apart from that it was fine. We had an 'all you can eat buffet' one evening which was excellent value, plenty to choose from.

Over all, we thought it was pretty good, a bit worn looking on the outside, but our room looked as if it may have been decorated quite recently (we did have trouble closing the window though). We are going to stay here again in May 2008, so I hope it doesn't let us down.
