Had a great buffet meal here. There was lots of choice. Great selection for kids. Enjoyed the roast pork and gratin potatoes. Lots of desserts to choose and pile of fresh fruit to have. Friendly service too.

We stayed at Sequoia Lodge Hotel for the fourth time last December. This is the first time we had eaten at the Hunters Grill as we usually prefer to eat in the Village, but as a party of eleven and having a toddler with us it was easier.

We were very surprised at the quality of the food on offer, everything was piping hot, fresh and regularly refilled (unlike Beaver Creek). We found there was a good selection of food for non-meat eaters and even the two fussy children in our party found plenty they liked. The dessert buffet was amazing, I only wished I’d left more room for extra dessert.

I’d recommend this restaurant as the best buffet service restaurant in the resort.

Went here in September 2008, this is about our 6th visit to this restuarant. Only thing is if you are staying over for more than 2 days you get bored of the food. Same Menu every day, every month and looks like every year. Since March 2007, it looks like the Menu hasn’t changed. Very Nice Paella and Salmon Dish.

Food is very good in general. Lot of Meat dishes, not much for the Vegetarians. Dessert selection is good. Waiters are very friendly and nice. When I went in September they had the Characters coming around the tables. Eeyore wasn’t very friendly though. My advice is, if you want to avoid a queue eat early.

Been here in September 2006. The restaurant is very nice and the waiters were all friendly and helpful. The background music from Pocahontas fits to the atmosphere. For my taste the restaurant is only a little too dark. The buffet was good, but only a limited choice for vegetarians and non pork eaters. The dessert buffet was great with a big choice.

We are two adults who ate here Nov. 15th 2007 and enjoyed our meal very much. The cost of the meal was 27 Euros per adult and our standard half board vouchers were accepted at a value of 19 Euros each towards our meal. Drinks not included. We thought the restaurant looked very nice and we were sat at an individual table for two. There is a huge buffet with many lovely salads and I feel it is a excellent choice for vegetarians. The mains included vegetarian lasagna, lasagna with meat, roast chicken, short ribs, white fish, salmon, shell fish, sausages, mousaka, beef stew in a red wine sauce to name a few. For the children there was also chicken nuggets, smile face potatoes, pizza and spaghetti with meat sauce. Around the corner from the well stocked dessert table was another we also missed which had assorted cheeses, breads and crackers. I had expected grilled meats on skewers which I had read about and asked our server but he said now the restaurant is a buffet only as that is what people want the most. We can recommend the Hunters Grill for a very enjoyable meal and we will be returning on our next visit!

I’m not a buffet boy. Especially when it’s not busy. The food was all dry and not hot enough.
The atmosphere in Hunter’s Grill is cosy, just like the rest of Sequoia Lodge.
Still, I would not go and eat there again.

I ate here on a night during a stay at the Sequoia Lodge hotel. It was fairly busy and we had previously made our reservation so didn’t have to wait (The queues can get quite scary later on in the evenings, so go early or book) There was a buffet service or there was a ‘set’ menu that included the buffet for starters and desserts, eat as much as you like, and then you could choose a main course. These included a lot of meat dishes – we had the half a spitroasted chicken with fries, sausages and coleslaw. It was delicious and cooked really well. Other mains were things like beef, chicken, pork, sausage – but all done in barbeque style ways and had other accompaniments. The buffet was really varied with a lot of fresh seafood, salads, meats, pasta, cheese and bread. The desserts were more or less the same as the other buffet restaurants – pies, mini cakes and sweets. There was a lot of choice.
The atmosphere in here is nice, like the Sequoia always is, and it isn’t too expensive. I would definitely go here again.
