If you want a pizza, go to the Pizza Outpost in Adventureland which is far better looking, except if you have young children who might enjoy the kids corner!

This resturant is actually pretty good, well at least compered to most of the reviews here. They serve good pizza (try the pizza burger- very good!) and although maybe not as cheap as might be expected, it is still pretty good value- for a theme park

The playground is alsoally good, and sometimes characters appear which is an added bonus. The only downside is that it gets very cold and also appears much like a warehouse. Apart from this it is quite a nice place to eat. 8/10

I like this restaurant, i dont know why.
The play area is good fun. And the characters come out at times too!
One time i remember sitting there, and Minnie Mouse came over and started feeding me my food! Was so fun

Sure they should try and make the restaurant more cosier and homely
But all in all a good family restaurant!

Same old junk food but its a great place to get away from the real busy disney. Very expensive but so is everything. For 2 pizzas, garlic bread and small chips as well as the bottles of water = £30. Not cheap.

    Lighten up guys!

I come to DLRP to be thrilled, entertained and to have a good time. Theme park dining is not good most of the time. Pizza Planet serves good food (does what it says on the tin – namely PIZZA) good atmosphere and theming with a good play area for children. By far one of the best restaurants in the park, looking for a good, affordable pizza? Come on down to Pizza Planet.

O.K; I will admit it’s freezing inside and it is a bit of a warehouse but sit OUTSIDE. Great views of the stunning Space Mountain exterior and views of the trains being launched from the mainly hidden side of Discoveryland.

You know what guys? O.K it isn’t great but it’s a lot better than the Blue Bayou, or should I say RIP OFF COUNTRY!

We had never been there before and as there are so many bad reviews about it I was scared to go lol.

But even if the theming could had been better and there is nothing special in there I can’t say we had an horrible meal. Of course as it a fast food you cant expect a gourmet meal but we could find a place to sit no problem and the pizza burger was not too bad.

As I said before maybe they could theme it better as it feels a bit like you are eating in a garage.

We stumbled on this place by accident, it is pretty well hidden away and after eating in here you have to ask is that on purpose??

You’d have thought with the Toy Story theme this could be one of the most popular restaurants in the park, especially round the corner from the seamingly popular Buzz Lightyear ride, but they appear to have got it soooo wrong here.

The place is HUGE with a massive hangar like feel about it. We popped in for a quick bite in November to just get a snack, warm up and escape the rain that was starting; inside it was so cold I had to keep my coat on!!! The food was the pretty standard pizza they offer up at a lot of the other outlets and I have no complaints about that, it was pretty much what I expected.

It was the restaurant itself I was disappointed in – it was freezing cold and there was a strange smell. The building was so large I can’t imagine it ever being full – I did wonder if it was designed/used for large groups of organised trips such as school outings – it had that bland cafeteria feel about it.

As we left we walked past the Pizzeria Belle Notte and kicked ourselves for not going there instead.

I disagree with most people here because I LOVE Pizza planet because it has amazing themeing when I was there (quite a while back) there was no problems with the food, me and my mates really enjoyed the food. It wasn’t too expensive and it was very close to the discoveryland attractions so we just popped straight onto Star Tours after we had our food.

The only problem I found with it was it was quite loud but it was only children enjoying themselves on the play area so what do you expect? That’s what disney is all about!

Overall I enjoyed my quick meal there and will eat there again when I go back to the Magical place!! :)

When we visited dlrp, pizza planet was never open, either that or it didnt open until after midday. Food was never ready in time for the people coming into the restaurant, so i would agree with everyone else that this is worst place to eat in the whole of dlrp.

This restaurant is hidden away behind Space Mountain and next door to the “Honey I shrunk the audience” theatre.

The theming of the restaurant is around Toy Story but that is a far as I could praise it.

The food is not to the usual standard of the other “counter service” restaurants and the whole place is looking tired and in need of a make-over. It is not somewhere I would recommend for a snack or lunch.

As stated below, this is one of the real low points of the park. Such a shame, because anything asociated with with Buzz/Toy Story should be great! The food is really atrocious. The pizza burger is literally a tepid, cardboard like, mini pizza in a bap. There is a very small play area, so I guess it would serve a function if it was wet outside and you simply wanted a coffee break. It does seem to be closed a lot of the time though.

We ate here for a quick snack lunch. The food was ok – usually disney fast food standard. It was self-service and hot when you collected it, but, by the time you had queued and paid they food was cold.
The surroundings are fun – our 3 year old is a big Buzz fan so really appreciated the theming, however, it is looking a little tired and could do with some renovation. Play area was closed.

I guess the only plus point was that the restaurant is large and out of the way, so, if the park is really busy you might be lucky and get a table here.

This I feel is one of the low points of the Park. It seems almost an after thought with very little effort given to anything. The food is poor and the surroundings not up to the standard of the rest of the Park. The play area was closed this year, with a notice saying that they were going to redo the area, more needed than that to bring this restaurant up to the Disney standard.

Don’t go to this restaurant unless the rest are all full.

OK, caveat emptor with this one (we went in August 2006, so it may have changed since then)

In our opinion this is probably the worst place to eat in the whole of DLRP.

    Why?

The food is disgusting and cold.
The decor is very cheap and, due to the lighting, it can be a bit difficult to see clearly (lots of UV/Blue lights)
It is very un-Buzz. We were all up for a properly (or at least nicely) themed Buzz experience – but this felt like a place they’d put together using what evere left over bits they had lying around.

There is a play area for the kids to run around in (good idea), but unfortunately too many parents allow their children to run around in the restaurant itself. Result? Lots of children banging into tables and chairs, knocking over drinks, slipping, crying etc.. etc..

    Avoid (like the plague)
