Had dinner at La Grange at Billy Bobs on our second night. Were the first ones in when it opened at 6pm. Got served straight away. Food was very good. Texan buffet. Spare ribs, beef, chicken, sweetcorn, fajitas, salads, lots of choice. Found staff very efficient. Eat all you like, starters and desserts were good too.
I would say if you stay in a Disney Hotel, go half board, you get a discount and then you don’t have the shock at the end when you pay the bill!
This and Walts in Disneyland Park I would recommend highly.
We visited Billy Bob’s after walking around the parks for a couple hours with no luck getting into any restaurants due to large queues. We don’t particularly like the live music but it was stand-able however the service was disastrous.
Of three groups of people who were waiting to be served it took an hour for our drinks to arrive and a further thirty minutes for the food and that was only after we spoke to the manager about our highly distracted waiter. When it came it was nothing special and would say every food outlet in the park serves better quality meals.
Overall I’d say stay away at all costs!
We have been to Disney 5yrs and always call at Billy Bobs during our stay, but we due to come back to Disney September 2008 and this time Billy Bobs is a NO GO ZONE….
We went last year and I`ve never been in such a disorganised place for a long time, the staff didn`t seem to listen to what we came in for and sent us to a different part of the Saloon where we didn`t ask for.
We like to sit and watch the Line Dancing while having our meal and beers, and what a performance just to get this servce..
With a place like Disney Land Paris you would of thought standards would be high and customers treated with respect, I`ve tried to twist my wife and Daughters arm to try again this year and they`re standing firm and refusing to give Billy Bobs our service, so who am I to argue……
3/10
Bad service! We just wanted to have a drink outside and after 10 minutes waiting we’ve asked on of the 3(!) waiters if he’s serving or if we should go and get our drinks at the bar. He told us we will be served but no one showed up. So we got our drinks inside and paid around 18 EUR for three beers – that’s quiet a lot. By the way everything was really dirty and sticky. Actually i would like that place but this time it was disappointing.
Have only eaten here once. We were seated on seats which were like bar stools over looking the lower floors. Our own fault for not booking. The buffet was out of this world with so much choice. We shall definately eat here again when we’re there in November, this time we’ll book a table first!
Loved billy bobs. we only discovered it on our last nite. The variety was great and there was something for all the family to feast on and the beauty of it being all you can eat. Vegetarian paradise, with huge selection of pasta’s Hot and cold, Rice dishes, salads, Potato’s, nacho’s, corn on the cob, Fish, and fruits to name a few, Meat eaters wont be disappointed either with huge selection of meats hot and cold and generous size portions on the carvery too. Typical kids buffett available to with all the usual ,Nuggets, burgers , Pizzas etc. Highly recommended and great change of food from the usual disneyland fast food.
I have very miced feelings about this one…
I had some some great time overthere when there was a brilliant group playing on stage, but unfortunately also had some bad experience there with extremely long waiting times for just two beers…
If you have plenty of time, and primarily looking to enjoy the music that’s on the night you’re there, go for it, as the atmosphere really is nice, but don’t expect a quick service…
Yes Yes Yes! I’ve been here once, and I had the best time there. A live band did a great show with lots of great covers.
The time I was there, the bar downstairs was very busy and it took way too long to get something to drink.
Tip: Get your drinks upstairs and take them downstairs!
Huge country look-a-like club. They offer a variety on entertainment. Sometimes there’s a live band, dancing contest or line-dancing. They serve a lot of different cocktails. It’s an nice place to have a drink or two and make a little dance. 6/10
They have an all-you-can-eat buffet here, which is very good. Food is tasty and plentiful. There’s a bar on several levels with a dance floor downstairs. It is great fun to have a drink, listen to the live music and watch the line dancers do their thing. This place has great atmosphere and is my favorite place in Disney Village. Well worth the visit!
