I don’t know how to describe this ride, its fun and scary at the same time.
Like the person below me said, all the cast members were fantastic, but found the men quite funny. It’s also quite a tricky ride for those who don’t know how the lift works, you are in for a great surprise.
Just one word about this ride: AWESOME!!!!!
Oh My God. I love this ride. It is so awesome. Starting with the queue, it’s actually not that bad… it moves really fast and once you get past the main doors of the hotel you’re almost on the ride, you just have to get into the library. If you get a fast pass, you get into the library straight away… and is well worth using your fast pass on.
The cast members are fantastic. However, some of them could be a lot better (mostly the women) . The Men, are so scary, and you just can’t help but laugh at them. The Ride itself is wonderful. When they say “Gravity Defying” They really mean it!!! You come up out of your seat, It’s a lucky thing they make you wear a seatbelt. lol.
I have given this ride 10 out of 10. but unfortunately it has it’s down points.
1) If you go on this ride a lot you have to go into the library every time and watch the television, and if you go on it as much as I did. You get kind of tired of it. Although, it is fantastically put together it gets kind of boring after a while!
2) Nearly every ride is in French. I had to ask one of the cast members to play it in English and he kindly did. It was played in English only twice in my 12 times going on it. And if you can’t understand the French, you really are missing out on quite a lot.
Finally 3) The photo on this ride is taken with everyone else who’s in the elevator with you. Which is a bit of a down side. Who wants to look at their souvenir and see 20 more people they don’t even know in it. I know it would be really hard to take individual pictures. But they could at least take pictures of sections of the elevator.
I still love the ride, apart from those 3 points I mentioned above!
One of the best attraction I’ve ever done… The Special Effects, the fall and the Cast Members are awesome!
Thank god WDS has this attraction!
It’s wonderfully scary. I really love the story behind this hotel. Not talking ’bout the fall. Really exciting.
This ride is awesome. I really like it. Effects and outside look of this attraction are scary but attraction as attraction is awesome. Once when you step into the elevator, there’s no coming back. The fear is getting into your bones.
When I stepped into the elevator I was really afraid. Hotel from inside is very dusty and scary, too. If you are interested about adventure and fear you should take a look into this hotel. This attraction is a good but scary experience. I really like it, it’s one of my favorite attractions. I love it.
This ride is absolutely incredible! the theming is awesome (though the outside doesn’t bare up to close inspection as well as i’d hope- it is a bit bland in parts, particularly around the outside queue area, though this will probably look far better once the building ages naturally and the gardens become genuinely overgrown). The inside of the hotel, particularly the boiler room area, is phenomenal and makes use of some very impressive lighting and sound effects.
The pre-ride areas add so much to the ride experience as it builds up tension and apprehension perfectly (you are still nervous even after the 5 rides). The first time you ride is terrifying and to be honest the least you know about the ride itself the better (for good reasons) so as to preserve this anxiety and fear of entering into ‘la quatrieme dimension’.
The ride itself toys with the rider expertly; it builds up tension, creates a fantastic mystery, displays beautiful special effects and always catches you off guard before the drop.
The Twilight Zone Tower of Terror is exceptional and HAS to be ridden- even my 50 yr old parents loved it (despite being terrified before hand). This is because the ride itself is not as intense as other rides in the resort (which can rattle your head around), it is just scary, surprising, impressive and an insane amount of fun which will have you screaming, and then laughing your head off until you exit the ride with quaking knees.
An absolutely perfect ride that shows why Disneyland Resort Paris is the greatest holiday destination in Europe (if not the world)- go there, and ride it.
It looks great from what I have seen (Exterior) and the attention to detail is second to none.
Unfortunatly, due to my impairment, I was unable to ride. Despite this, I would recommend Crush to anyone who enjoys a thrilling ride while experiencing a truly magicly atmosphere!
Amazing!!
I love this ride so much, i rode it 11 times this trip but would happily have spent an entire day on it! I love the ‘air time’ feeling, the theming, the atmosphere and one of the best bits, the creepy cast members especially Michel who just made it extra special.
I rode it in every shaft, both libraries and alot of the time it was in English, one of the times the cast member was flirting with me while we were waiting to go into the lift, when we were seated in the lift he asked who spoke English there were only me and my mum and dad but he said ok then in English and proceeded to do the whole speech bit in English and ran the drop in English. I have to say though that while the male cast members were excellent at being spooky and creepy especially Michel and the flirty one, the female cast members were rubbish too much smiling and well just lame. A spooky cast member makes all the difference!
LOOOOOVED IT!!!!!
I was a bit nervous before going on, but came off wanting more!! The Cast Members really get into the action and like to creep up on you and try to scare you. They got me a few times, but its all part of the fun!
The queue time is deceptive- it tells you the time it takes to get into the first part of the ride…The Library. Once you get out of the Library you are in another queue to get to the lift so be aware that what it says outside is not always true. The fastpass will only allow you to jump the first bit of the queue, after the Library you will have to join with everyone else to wait for the lift.
The first time I went on the main drop is IMMENSE, but as you go on more and more its not as bad. I loved the theming and aswell as the drops the first part in the lift is also very clever!!
A MUST DO, DO NOT GO HOME WITHOUT RIDING IT!
Thrilling!!! Have done Tower of Terror in WDW but still managed to be surprised by the Paris version. I think it is better, wonderfully done. The queues are a bit slow, but the FP queue goes pretty much straight in to the library. The views are terrific. Even the shop is good. Can’t wait to get back on it again!!
This is a great ride! The Queues were never too long, about 10 minutes was the maximum (only when Crush was down did the queue grow to 30 mins!) However, the Florida tower remains my favourite as once you have been on a few times you know the sequence of drops! Still an awesome ride!!!
Just came back from Disneyland Paris, and on the last day out of 3, I went on this ride and loved it, came off with a big smile on my face.
It was the most exciting and smoothest ride I have been on, day and night the The Hollywood Tower looks fantastic.
This is the best ride EVER!!!!!! I loved it! Space mountain was top on my list but now second as The twilight Zone Tower Of Terror has zoomed up the list!
The scary bit is going down. The ride goes as fast as gravity and when you’re falling down, your bum comes off the seat! Be sure to look happy or terrified all the way through because the photo comes in a surprising place! I loved it, my mum, my dad, my sis loved it. My brother is 4 so he hated it. He said…”I hate it and I never ever want to go on it again!” We kept asking him what his worst ride was and he declared, “THE UP AND DOWN RIDE I TOLD YOU THAT BEFORE!!!!!” This means don’t take a 1-4 on this ride.
He liked the part when you go up but not when you go down. He went on it twice. He’s so brave!
Brilliant, Fantastic, Terrific! An absolute MUST DO! We practically walked onto it on our first day (Thursday afternoon) and also on our second day (10am on Friday) but on our last day there was a 45 minute wait! Needless to say we were just trying to get our last few rides in before departing and just didn’t have the time to wait.
Saying that, we don’t tend to queue longer than 25 – 30 minutes for a ride anyway. But, this is fantastic. So, if you only have one chance to do it, the wait would be worth it!
