My 3 year old son and 4 year old daughter loved this. I would say that you should sit near the middle if possible as less chance of seeing the puppetiers and also more chance of getting the bubbles, leaves and ribbons.
There is a bit of a wait in the first room but as you can see how many more minutes to wait and how many seats left you might be best waiting till almost the last minute if it isn’t too busy.
We went and checked first thing in the morning to find out when the English version was on so that we could plan our day.
Excellent, my 2 year old loved this, the only issue we had is your packed in and have to sit on the floor. Quite long but brilliant, a definite for us if we go back.
The family really enjoyed this, especially as we have kids the right age, and who love all the characters who turned up. I liked the fact that there was audience participation as well.
Another plus was the signposting outside the attraction, stating what time the next show is, what language, and how many “seats” are left, meaning that you can actually walk straight in – like we did. It looked like there had been some sort of pre-show in the waiting room.
Just back from DLRP and was lucky enough to get to one of the ‘preview’ shows of Playhouse Disney prior to the official start on 04/04 (i think!).
Thought the show was fantastic, we have a 4 year old and nearly 3 year old who having been watching playhouse disney religiously over the last 6 months or so it was great for them to see some of the shows/characters they have grown to love as really you’ll not see any Handy Manny or Little Einsteins in the rest of the Parks!
Only word of caution is that it is a sit on the floor affair – which I thought was inspired however my 23 week pregnant wife did not and had to sit at the back for fear of never getting up again!
