This has to be the flagship ride for all disney fans who visit here. The wait times can be horrendouse but if you have the extra hours then try & get here early & take advantage of the early morning ride, you only have to wait about 15 mintues, however even if you que for an hour it has to be worth it just for that fantastic view of Fantasyland from Dumbo, especially just as the sun sets & the lights come on. 10 out of 10
This is a must but does get very busy. It’s not as fast as Orbitron but better in the fact that it is Dumbo.
The Queues are very long so only go on if you spot a small queue, magic hours are ideal.
Dumbo in my opinion is a must. Both my sister and I love this ride and go on it everytime we go. It is very popular with younger children but it is fun for all the family. However, beware as the queues can become very lengthy and the time estimates are not that accurate – go on during the early magic hours.
When I think of a Disney park I think of Dumbo the flying Elephant! A great ride for all, with a nice view of fantasyland! This ride always has quite a long queue so if your keen to ride it go to it first!
This ride is a bit of an icon, isn’t it? There are several other rides wich have a similar format – Magic Carpets, Orbitron – but there’s something about Dumbo that makes it a must-do, possibly because of its beautiful location and great views from the top.
Little kids and seniors will love it, but don’t expect thrill-seeking teens to be too eager to ride, unless, like me, they’ve grown up loving Disneyland!
Tip: Get there as soon as the park opens. Seriously, if you don’t you will be looking at queues of over an hour and as charming as it is, it is NOT worth that wait!
A classic ride with nice views, but make sure you do it during Extra Magic Hours if you can as is it really worth waiting an hour for a thirty-second ride? Look out for the moving Timothy Mouse on the little hot air balloon centrepiece, and pull the lever as high as it can go for the best views.
I was stoked to do this ride, and I’m a teenager! My family just made sure to get here first thing in the morning(it was the second ride we did, as soon as the park opened), and the line wasn’t too bad. I’d suggest just trying to get to it early, and then enjoying it to the fullest. It’s Dumbo; a classic, adorable ride.
My daughters fave ride, a real must do for the little ones. Luckily we didnt endure long queues for this ride it was mostly a walk on. The view from above if you make Dumbo at its highest is really beautiful.
Again at the risk of winding everybody up (sorry) we didnt have to wait for this ride :) This is such a pretty ride and great for everybody. It is a simple roundabout ride that you can alter the height of. Higher is better.
Cute :)
The 1st time i went to eurodisney in june 07 the queues for this ride were always well over a hour, but in sep 07 i got on in about 10 minutes.
Ok so im 28 and this is obviously a ride aimed at little kids, but i had to ride as its iconically disney and the view from the top is quite amazing.
Always massive lines but a classic disneyland ride so a must for fans.
Kids will enjoy controlling Dumbo flying up and down. Get here really early to avoid the waiting in line.
A true classic Disney ride. Top-tip ride this attraction early as once the queue forms it’s there for the rest of the day. (Claim to fame – have been on the first ‘fly’ of the day!) That means at least a 30 minutes wait and i’m not sure it’s worth that kind of wait? Great sights of the Park when your up high, a must do ride for the whole family.
Dominating the centre of Fantasyland, Dumbo is a must. do for the little ones. I think no visit to Disneyland is complete for the small people if they didn’t ride Dumbo.
As others have said, get on early, because the queues can climb to Two Hour waits. (No fun with or for a small child).
If you stay at a Disney hotel, use the extra hours morning to ride Dumbo first.
Its a first trip must do as it is such an iconic disney ride -but not really worth the huge queues that it attracts -try and do during EMH or when park first opens to get on without huge queues.
A simple fairground ride dressed up to Disney standards. Controlling the elephants is fun but this is one strictly for younger children. This is a slow loading ride and can attract long lines, so if you have younger children in your party try and do this one first thing in the morning.
