This is a great way to see the park without walking around everywhere. You can get on the train from any of the stops in the different areas and you can stay on as long as you like. A brilliant way to relax. The queues can become quite lengthy further on during the day but you can always get a seat.

A must if you are a first time tourist at Disneyland as your feet will be sore from all the walking.

    This is great!
Theres always a seat, and is a nice welcome break from walking.
you also get to see the park from a different view.
Something you have to do when you go to Disney!

A thoroughly enjoyable way to get a tour of the park perimeter. The great views of the respective lands, the fantastic music and the authenticity of the trains contribute to why this is a must do attraction and is so popular among guests. Though perhaps when it is running to full capacity it’s VERY slow, but I think it’s worth the wait.

    ALL ABOARD!

I would avoid this at all costs. If the park is very busy then it’s useful to get from one land to the other – but taking a ride round the whole park? I wouldn’t recommend it.

The train is maddeningly slow and the ride shows you a lot of the park that you aren’t meant to see. The sections that pass through the Pirates of the Caribbean ride are a bit haft aswell. When I went on it was a black tunnel. I would recommend using your precious time in the parks to to see the more worthwhile attractions.

Now step back in time and imagine yourself back in the Wild Wild West amongst other eras…

I love this ride as you get a chance to see what is going on in the park, and I usually get my camcorder out and record the ride for future viewing and remembering the great times of the holiday.

Me personally I would recommend it, just a pleasant ride and you see a little more.

This is a must do “attraction”.

A lovely slow ride right around the disney park stopping at:
    Main street USA
    Frontierland
    Fantasyland
    Discoveryland

A full loop lasts around 25 minutes. The train takes you around the back of the rides (and even through some!!) and can give you a little glimpse of what happens behind the magic.

However this is a VERY popular attraction. It is usually always busy. The best station to hop on at is Frontierland.

This is a wonderful attraction. We like to do this first of all to get a great look round the Lands. It’s great to give people who haven’t done Disney before a quick tour. Love it!!

This is one of my personal ‘must do’ attractions every time I visit. I find it so relaxing, and although there is a lot that could be done to make the Paris version more interesting – currently there is a LOT of unused space – I love travelling the train!

It’s made even more fantastic by the soundtrack – although I found it was a little bit hit and miss as to whether it was playing on any given train on any day.

I would say that although I love it, it’s not necessarily an attraction that you’d need to experience more than once – until they improve the scenery on some parts of course! But there’s nothing bad I can say about it, so, for me, 10/10!!

Once youve ridden this once, its quicker and easier to walk around the park then take the train as the queues are long and slow moving.

The journey is mostly behind the rides or through the middle of trees and quite dull, the only part thats really interesting is the part where it passes the grand canyon, but even here it moves too quickly to take in the scenes.

Certianly worth a look but wouldnt recommend it as a form of transport.

Board the Disneyland Railroad for your journey around the Magic Kingdom! Either use it as a means of getting to another area in the park or for a relaxing trip to take in all the views along the way. There are four stations – Main Street, Frontierland, Fantasyland and Discoveryland where you can either board or alight. It is great for capturing video footage of the park and for having a break from walking. Main Street tends to be the busier of the stations where more people tend to board than get off.

    ALL ABROARD!

In California and Florida this is a fun ride through many scenes and dioramas you can’t see from the main park, and also a great way to save your legs travelling from one land to another.

In Paris, it’s a very long wait, followed by a dull journey through builders yards, access roads, and uncultivated woodland – and Nothing. Long waits at each station don’t help either.

My Tip: If you’ve got lots of time to waste, take the train. If not, if you can walk, walk.

Big disappointment for the children too.

Sorry this did not impress me at all.

The trains are attractive and the ride is fun if there is no queue. The best stretch of track is between Main Street Station and Frontierland, as the train passes through the “Grand Canyon Diorama” and also passes by the Rivers of America. The dullest stretch of track is between Discoveryland and Main Street, which is devoid of any interesting scenery.

Taking the train to the different lands is certainly more relaxing than walking, but it’s not really any quicker. Beware that the railroad is also very popular and can sometimes attract a long line during the middle of the day.

I love the Disneyland Railroad! It’s always a must do for me. I’m not a train fanatic, but I just love going round the park looking at all the beautiful scenery. It’s just a shame that sometimes the train can be really busy and you can’t get a seat.
