All I want to add to this -
THE HOT CHOCOLATES ARE AMAZING HERE!
The shop has things you may not find elsewhere and the art deco theme is pretty. A lot of photo opportunities.
I love studio 1, I think it’s a great place to relax and soak up the atmosphere of the studios! One side houses a very large store which runs the full length of the building and the other side is the Restraunt En Coulisse, which does counter service food and has plenty of seating!
A great walk-through experience that gives an immersive film set atmosphere. There are some good shops too. Look out for the mini searchlights on the Hollywood Hills mural above the back door. Studio 1 is a great introduction to the look and feel of Walt Disney Studios Park, and is extremely detailed too, so do take time to explore it all.
The design of the only entrance in to the park (and exit) is amazing there a a high level of detail and imagineering from the streetlamps to the lighting effects.
I find that the cinefolies can be a problem though! I suggest that (unless you want to watch it) when loud music, lighting changes and an introduction to cinefolies is played that you head into the park quickly as the area around cinefolies can get congested with a crowd of people watching the ‘filming’ of a movie.
The only way into and out of the studios park. Certainly shows disneys attention to detail.
You are allowed in here before the park opens but it gets a bit intense as everyone pushes to the front to be the 1st into the park when the doors are opened in the morning.
The heart of the studios, i think anyway. Neon lights, cars, big band playing on occasion, shops and also toilets and somewhere to get some food. Cinefolies are seen here a lot too.
Can’t miss it – literally you have to go through it to get into the studios!
Walt Disney Studio’s version of Main Street is a well themed if garishly lit tribute to old time Hollywood. There’s a large shop and restaurant here. Guests are usually allowed into Studio 1 about an half hour before the Studios open, and it is nice to have a stroll around the shop before hitting the rides. A pleasant piece of Imagineering.
Disney Studio one is an amazing Imagineering entrance to the great Walt Disney Studios Park. With photo locations, restaurants and shops its a great atmosphere. The only thing i want changed is to get rid of the Cars billboard !!
