This is a great place to eat, the fish and chips are lovely. Inside is great and has a lovely atmosphere and the decor is brill. The only drawback is that it is not open everyday there last visit we never got to go in.
A great place for a bit of fish and chips, unsurprisingly! The portions are always a decent size, you can get Tomato Soup too, plus the interior is really pleasant. However, gets very busy at lunch and dinner times, so try to go before 1/2 and before 6pm. The fish and chips are really filling, and you actually feel like you have eaten something - a nice change from burgers ‘n’ fries. Plus, watch out for the little details in here - the portrait of Toad, for example, changes between Mona Lisa and back to normal. One tip - the bottles of vinegar are few and far between, but after asking several times, they are kept in the cupboard underneath where the napkins and salt are, and anyone can help themselves
This is a nice restaurant serving pretty good fish and chips. Look out for the “changing painting” hanging on one of the walls. This restaurant is sometimes closed during quieter months.
