This was easily my families worst dining experience in Disneyland Paris!
We ate here 14th march and arrived at 8pm (we had a reservation) it took about 5 mins to be seated, it was a buffet starter, main course from the menu and desert buffet. We ordered drinks and our choice of main course from the menu then went up for starters which were good, we then waited about 25 mins for drinks. It got to 9pm and still no main course then they brought out my sons which was a burger patty no bun with fries. It was not cooked it hadn’t even been sealed fully both sides so we sent it back. 5 mins later we got that back (still hadn’t seen any of the other main course there were 6 of us) same patty had been charred with the tomato sauce my son had put on it now burnt onto it.
We immediately asked for the manager he apologised offered us free drinks and to get my son a fresh meal we told him we hadn’t had our meals, we had requested very well cooked meat, shortly afterwards all our meals arrived they looked great BUT! my husband had ordered roasted half chicken and got some sort of kebab, my dad had ordered steak well done but it was the rarest meat i have ever seen you could still see pink on the outside of the steak, me and my mum had ordered burgers and they were almost raw like my sons had been.
We had, had enough and called over the manager again and again he apologised and when he saw our meals admitted they were extremely rare he offered to have everything cooked again or transfer us over to the hunters grill where we had two previous evening meals that were fantastic, so we transferred but by then our night had been spoiled and my children were really quite upset by it all. We found a vast difference between Beaver creek and hunter’s grill maybe Beaver creek should consider switching to full buffet like Hunter’s.
Booked an reservation here through the hotel while checking in. This resturant used to offer the starter and desert from a buffet, and the main course would come from the menu. Sadly now all three courses come from the buffet and this resturant is no longer table service but buffet service like Hunters Grill.
Arrived here 5 minutes to 9.00 pm and after a short wait was seated to a table. The overall atsmophere of the resturant was loud with plenty of kids about. A Cast Member explained that you were aloud to eat and go up as many times as you liked.
The starters were a selection of pate’s and cold meats, as well as the usual potato salads and coleslaw.
The main course included cooked meats, to lasagne to even chicken nuggets. I personally wasn’t keen on the starters and much perfered the main course selections and wished I had skipped on the starters altogether and just gone for main course.
The deserts was a selection of pies and treats, I witnessed many people picking out three to four deserts per plate.
Service was good and quick, when I requested another round of drinks the Cast Member was very fast with bringing the order.
Overall this isn’t the best resturant in the Resort but for the price and selection on offer you can’t go wrong. I certainly recomend, especially if you have kids in tow. But if your after a quiter dining experience, than Beaver Creek Tavern isn’t for you.
I really hate this restaurant.
I stay in SQL last halloween and i found a very bad service, the buffet (starter and dessert) was really messy, we wait really a long time to get in and it was so full that we were crucified in a little table attached to other people.
My God, what a bad experience.
I’d highly recommend this restaurant @ 26 euros/head for adults, with a buffet starter, main course from the menu and buffet dessert. I had the Sirloin Steak as a main dish, my older son had the spare ribs and was amazed to see it was a whole rack of ribs served with a variety of sauces. My younger son ate from the children’s menu. There was a huge buffet choice of starters including L’escargots (didn’t try) and prawns which were delicious.
I was disappointed by the time it came to desserts by the fact that I was full and could only fit 2 of them, I had a strawberry mousse tart which was delicious and a piece of almond cream spongecake - equally nice, my son had the mallows with a custard type sauce. The bill for 2 adults and 1 child came to 82 euros which was very reasonable for the amount of food available and included 3 cocktails, non alcoholic for the kids of course !
Excellent value, we ate around 9.00pm and the restaurant was about half full, extremely good service.
