Comfortable rooms (extremely cosy beds), clean facilties throughout and very pleasant staff - a great base for the Disney experience if your choice is to spend most of your time at the parks. The food is perhaps its weakest point and certainly not four stars but then we ate out most of the time as we chose to maximise time at the parks instead. Stayed twice now and recommended to friends.
A free shuttle bus (crowded at peak times) ferries you to and from the resort and does service adjacent hotels but at half the price to the main hotels this is a good option for those working on a budget.
Myself and my family stayed here for a week. Very nice and spacious hotel - lots of play areas for the kids.
What really let it down were two points:-
1. The food was terrible. For a four star hotel, the bar served microwave food and old sandwiches kept in a fridge. The bar staff didn’t seem to know their ‘you know what from their elbow’. The restaurant wasn’t much better. The buffet breakfast was more like an England rugby scrum with people struggling for tables and then just eating off of trays. We daren’t try the lunch or dinner but looking from the outside, it looked much the same.
2. The second point was the free shuttle to Disney. Yes, this is not the hotels fault but it still put us off. The shuttle bus drivers do not care how many people get on, if there were steps on the roof, I am sure people would be on there too. People were being squashed to get on. Yes, it was free but personally I would rather pay a couple of euros and have someone control the queue and how many people get on it.
Nice hotel but but not a four star, just on the food alone.
