A brilliant show to watch with the whole family, lines build up very quick so be sure your there early as there aren’t many seat for the amount of people how want to see it. Great effects but disappointing on how short it is.
An OK show, good to watch if you are eating in Cafe Hyperion, not worth queuing for for tickets and allocated seats etc - you actually get a better view the further back you are of the whole stage anyway. Some of the singers are quite good, but this is my least favourite show that has been on at Videopolis - I found Mulan and Beauty and the Beast much more entertaining and special. If you have to choose, go see Tarzan instead. May have been as I seen the full-blown musical of Broadway a few years ago, but in general there just isn’t a lot on offer. But, as I say, quite nice to watch if you are there for a bite anyway.
This is a condensed version of the full musical, every bit as professionally stage managed and certainly as breathtaking - missed this in 2006 and made sure we saw it this year. We waited 45mins in the cold and the queues are lengthy (we were close to front and it ensured great seats) but worth every minute. Would definately recommend and we would certainly see again. 10/10
A total success, a must-see everytime I’m in Disneyland. It’s as good as a Broadway musical, but it’s in a theme park and the singers perform 5 times a day. Very, very impressive and emotionnal too. 10/10
Having seen ‘The Lion King’ in London’s west end this was every bit as good although a shorter version. The theatre holds a large crowd and views of the stage were excellent. The performance was stunning and the special effects first class. All your favourite songs and characters. This show can’t fail to please. 10/10
What a brilliant way to spend our wedding anniversary, dinner and a show (well an omelette burger and a show! )
This really was a fantastic show. The special effects were brilliant ( flames, water etc.), the songs were favourites from the film (hakuna matata) and the puppet characters were excellent.
We actually watched the french version, because we missed the english one, but it really didnt matter (my french is basic) because all the songs were sung in english anyway, and the visuals were so good.
It wasnt a long show (well you cant expect the whole film in approx 1/2 hour!) and the costumes of simba and nala were disappointing ( I was expecting cute lion characters not human interpretations), but never the less, its still a fantastic show. I also love the large life like plastic characters dotted about the restaurant seating. Great for posing with for photos! Me and that antelope! 9/10
I’m giving the full 10 stars to this show because we just love watching it! I have to say that “The Lion King” is one of my favourite Disney films, but’s that not the only reason. The show is made like a little musical, the actors are perfoming and singing live and it’s just breathtaking, especially the song “Can You Feel The Love Tonight”! If you like shows & entertainment, you’ll surely love The Legend of the Lion King :)!
After avoiding this show for the past 2 visits, we decided to go and have a look and we were glad we did. The singers are fantastic and the dancing is professional. It’s sort of a fast-forwarded version of the movie - picking out the most important parts and songs. The set is great too. Get here early as a huge mass of people seem to appear from nowhere, waiting to go in.
