  1. The best season to go. The park is immaculately done up, and is more magical than ever. The fake snow, the decorations and the Christmassy music are just… amazing, you feel like you are a child again.

  2. Arguably Disney’s best season. The snowfall down Main Street makes you feel like you’re in some kind of dream. All of the decorations are also just perfect even in Walt Disney Studios. I have only been to DLRP once during 2005’s christmas season and enjoyed every moment of it especially the ends of the days when everyone gathered to Central Plaza to watch the Enchanted Fairytale Christmas Ceremony.

  3. Our first Disney experience was in the Christmas Season and will live in our hearts as our best stay ever, though we have had some fab summer holidays at the resort too.

Taking our pre schoolers to Disneyland at the most magical time of the year lived up to high expectations and gave us some fabulous memories.

Staying at the start of the Christmas season gives some definite advantages - small queues, less crowds, fantillusion! Just wrap up warm and get out there and soak up the atmosphere. A stay at this time of year gets you in the Christmas mood and leaves you with a festive glow to last well into New Years!

  4. I try and take in the wonder of the Christmas season every other year. It is so magical and really gets me in the Christmas spirit. I walk around Main Street humming and singing along with the Christmas backing music. I enjoy the Christmas parade and the frequent snow showers.

I especially love the way the Chateau is lit up for the Christmas tree lighting ceremony and afterwards. I absolutely love it all and it is so magical.

I took my mother in January 07 for the last day of the Christmas season and she really enjoyed herself. I don’t think she had seen such tall Christmas trees before. Fabulous.

  5. New Years Eve.
We went to Mickey’s holiday dinner which was great and then headed down to the park. Although the park stayed pen until 1am, the rides stopped at 11pm to get everyone down to Main Street. This meant that those of us (and lets face it we are the majority!) with pushchairs had a mammoth job of moving about. People were swearing at each other, pushing, shoving and generally being nasty.

The fireworks were good, but next time I would head back to the hotel and see the New Year in there. Far less stress and hassle. I can’t emphasise enough just how packed it was.

  6. Have just returned from our first ever disney experience. 18-21st dec, bitterly cold but WOW what an experience. Absolutely magical in every way. The shows, parades, atmosphere. Truly magical.

Yes, take lots of thermals, drinks etc. But also blankets for the Winter wonderland show (fab!). Loved every minute.

  7. Magical! Nobody does Christmas like Disney. Very atmospheric and thoroughly enjoyable. I would recommend thermal underwear though as it is absolutely freezing! We have just returned from a trip from the 16th - 19th December and we ended up putting pyjamas under our sons clothes aswell as thermal vests and two pairs of socks! Take regular breaks and hot drinks and take in all the indoor shows and of course dance along to the music!!

  8. Second visit in two years and thoroughly enjoyable - crowds busy at weekends and the cold can be biting, especially for the children but the whole park especially Main Street is magical.

  9. Superb throughout, wonderful touches that will be especially magical for younger visitors. All the extra entertainment definitely worth taking in.

  10. Disneyland and Christmas - perfect! Nobody does it better. It will truly put you in the mood for celebrating. The music, the decorations, the parades all add to the magic that only Disney can create. This year its even bigger and better being their 15th anniversary - the castle lit by thousands of tiny lights truly is a sight to behold. If you can visit at this magical time of year I highly recommend it. 10/10

  11. Loved every minute of it. I loved the way the music changed to a christmas theme for the parade once Santa was in view. Christmas really is the best time to go - a magical experience. Couldn’t fault it!

And with it celebrating its 15th year, Disneyland Paris truly is the place to be at Christmas.
