  1. Was quite disappointed with this parade, is an awful lot shorter than the one in the disneyland park. we waited in position from about 30minutes before it started and it seemed to only last 5-10minutes. is quite a range of floats from chicken little, minnie mouse, pinocchio, toy story, 101 dalamations, lion king, mary poppins, peter pan (the only place we seen tinkerbell!!!!), mickey mouse. seemed to drive very fast - wondered how the characters managed to keep their balance, lol!!

  2. The Studio’s Cinema parade seems to have changed once again (February 2008) and seems to have reduced in size and duration.

There are the usual Tinkerbell and Donald floats, along with Toy Story, Pinocchio, 101 Dalamations, Lion King and Mickey and Minnie Mouse. Mary Poppins aslo leaves her float and dances with her penguins.

The music is good and the cast members do put on a good parade but I suppose that having seen it develop over several years my views are a becoming a little jaded. This is one parade that could do with a rethink and a definite make-over.

The cast members dressed as bell hops in their red uniforms do add a certain charm but the content could do with some new ideas and some new floats. Many of the characters are the same as those in the “Dreams” parade in the Park so there is repetition here.

What about Nemo (now gone), the Incredibles (now gone) and some of the other characters that do not get a mention in the Park parades? The Studios could give some of the history of Disney in film.

Put Herbie in the parade, add some of the characters as they were (look how Mickey Mouse has developed in style), put some pazzazz back into the paprade and give the guests a true cinematic experience. I suppose the High Street Musical could feature here, as could Pirates of the Caribbean, along with Monsters Inc, etc.

If you have never seen it before then it still has sparkle. From a seasoned visitor’s viewpoint, I still rate it but it does need to be revised.

  3. I have seen this parade several times, whilst shorter than the parades in Disneyland Park its still just as enjoyable. It features all your favourite characters and when new films are released ie: Finding Nemo and The Incredibles they add new character appearances from those movies. After all, it is all about the cinema! The floats are colourful and the music will get you singing along. The crowds don’t seem to get as big for this parade as in the main park so where ever you stand you should be able to get a good view.

  4. My 3 year old son loves this parade. It is always quieter than the ones in Disneyland park and if you wait at end of the parade route where the float exits the characters always get off and interact with the children for a few minutes.

  6. This is a sweet little parade. There aren’t that many floats but they are visually effective, with characters such as Mickey and Minnie, the Lion King, Pinocchio, 101 Dalmations, Mary Poppins, Goofy, Chip and Dale and Pluto. Tinkerbell is also featured in the parade and it’s quite a short parade. You can request to sit on the final float which is the Mickey one - adding a real sense of ‘audience involvement’. The music is great and the cast in the parade play off each other well, giving some great photo opportunities. Get here about 10 mins before it begins, and the exit of Rock n’ Rollercoaster is a great place to stand and is usually fairly quiet.

  7. The parade is lovely for both adults and children. It is a short one compared to the other park. All the fun characters on a what looks like a film ride. To be honest it is a good thing it only last about 1/2 hour as there is so much more to do, i have been here 7 times and still have to squuze all this in.

  8. When you are spending a day at the studios , it’s a must see! It is not a high-tech enormous big parade but it’s just nice to see! I heard it’s getting replaced soon so when you are there , don’t miss it!
