1. The catastrophe canyon part is definately worth seeing, i was amazed the 1st time i saw it, but the rest of the ride isnt so interesting.

   If nothing else is an excuse to sit down and take the wait off your feet.

Quite a nice relaxing ride, although since the Tower of Terror has been erected, the queue area has felt rather squashed, and when I went in Oct 2007, we queued for around 45 minutes to get on, which is really unusual for us! The English commentary is provided by Jeremy Irons, who has the perfect voice for the ride, but there is no real flow in the script, especially when sometimes the video does not work, which tends to happen quite a lot.

   The highlight of the tour is of course Catastrophe Canyon, and of course dragons taking over London, which are both executed excellently. It would be nice if the props you were shown were more up to date and from better films, rather than 102 Dalmations and Pearl Harbour, but perhaps this will undergo a revamp soon.

   Not a totally unworthy addition to the Studios, but certainly not the best it has to offer. Worth a go, even if it is just for Catastrophe Canyon.

3. Alright if you want to relax and sit down, worth a go for the fire and water scenes alone. The rest is a little boring unless you are interested in set design etc.

4. A ride that could deliver much but sadly doesn’t - it has two action points the canyon and the London scene and apart from that this ride really just doesn’t have anything going for it. Needs to increase the action to justify the long wait before I would consider recommending this to anyone 3/10

5. The English commentary is provided by Jeremy Irons and each tram is supplied with a video screen. The tour takes you behind the scenes of the movie world and you get to see lots of props, costumes and sets. The highlight of the tour is when the tram enters Catastrophe Canyon. Here you experience an earthquake, fire and flood. Very small children might find this part of the tour scary. Queuing time be quite long so pick your time carefully when to visit this attraction.

6. As other people have said, this is a little disappointing. There are a lot of bare areas which could be filled, this attraction has the potential to be a lot better in time (I hope!)

   The best bit is catastrophe canyon, which is very clever and really enjoyable, if only it lasted a little longer. I remember the first time we went on it, it seemed to last longer and I was really impressed, but second time (3 years later), it seemed disappointingly short.

   Still really worth seeing just for the canyon alone. 7/10

7. Poor mans copy of the Universal ride in California.

   The main difference is there’s a lot happening at Universal, but very little on this ride.

   Maybe they’re going to add more as time goes on - maybe.

   Long queue? Don’t bother.
   Short queue? Take a ride, but don’t expect too much. Very dull.

8. The only thing I liked in the ride is the Catastrophe Canyon-bit. The attraction has lots of potential and would be a lot better if the last scene, Reign of Fire, would get an overhaul. When we were riding out of that part I thought I was unlucky in the front and would miss the action but the whole bus was unlucky, the last scene is disappointing after the Canyon.

9. Was good to be able to see some of the props used in the films. I especially enjoyed when we had family and friends with us who had never been on this before and just to see the look on their faces when we went into Catastrophe Canyon - it was a picture.

10. It was better than i thought in the beginning even if before and after Catastrophe Canyon it is just a tour around scenes from two unknown movies (honestly never heard of Dinotopya of Reign of Fire before!!).
    Anyway i think its’ worth doing.

11. Apart from Catastrophe Canyon, this is a dull attraction. The props are not very interesting, and the sets are OK but not very exciting. The sets are from productions that are not well known (Dinotopia and Reign of Fire) which doesn’t make them as interesting as they could be. The Reign of Fire set is well detailed though. Catastrophe Canyon is the highlight, a special effects filled spectacle involving explosions and plenty of water.

    The main problem with the backlot tour is that Walt Disney Studios Paris is not, and never will be, a working movie studio which makes this backlot tour seem fake and pointless. The narration by Jeremy Irons in English is shallow and explains little about the film making process.

    This attraction can attract a long line, and is just not worth it. This is the only ride in the Studios I skip if there is a long line. Try first thing in the morning to ride without a line.

    The majority of the tour is tame and fine for children (although they may get bored,) however Catastrophe Canyon is very intense and could be terrifying for some young children.
