Top-quality photography to remember your time in the Magic Kingdom by.
Your digital camera is all well and good, but it can't take photos of you screaming your way around Rock 'n' Roller Coaster starring Aerosmith or splashing down a waterfall inside Pirates of Caribbean. And at rushed Character Meet 'n' Greets, it can't always focus properly in time — especially if you've given it to someone unfamilar with the settings.
So, to get a better quality souvenir of your visit, Disney offers two distinct types of souvenir photos. Great quality, crisp prints that are perfect for framing and showing off to all your friends and family — and not a single finger in front of the lens!
On-ride photo tips
- Buy the photo from the very first time you ride! Whilst those silly faces once you know the location of the camera are funny, there's nothing like your initial reaction!
- If you want to buy your on-ride photo, you must go to the store listed here, next to the attraction, on the very same day. All photos are deleted from the system each morning.
- This also means, if you need to go and get some cash to buy the photo, you can return later the same day and still buy it, perhaps when queues are shorter — there's no rush.
Souvenir On-Ride Attraction Photos
During certain attractions, a special camera will catch a photo of you enjoying the ride — screaming, laughing or smiling; eyes open or closed! — which you can then find on LCD screens along the exit path.
Once you've found yourself on the screens, remember the number shown alongside your photo and head straight to the collection desk nearby the exit. Tell the Cast Memember your photo number and they'll bring it up on their screen for you to have a second look. Like it? Buy it and have it printed there and then in a variety of forms, from framed prints to keyrings.

Making your own souvenirs
- If you'd like to pose for a group photo somewhere in the parks or at a character meet 'n' greet and get everyone in the picture, don't hesitate to ask someone — either another guest or a Cast Member — to take your photo.
- The "it's that button on top" hand gesture and "thank you" smile and nod spans all languages!
Souvenir Character Meet 'n' Greet Photos
Disneyland Paris also has real, human photographers on hand at most of the dedicated Character Meet 'n' Greet locations.
When you meet a character, they'll ask you to quickly pose and will then hand over a ticket with instructions on how to view or collect your photo. Normally it will give a specific boutique within the park, such as Walt Disney Studios Store, where you are free to go and have a look at your photo with no obligation.
