Paris Averages

Paris Average Weather Chart

Forecast: Sun

  • Take lots of photos! This is when both parks are at their most beautiful, with all the colours and details of the Disney experience brought to life by the sun.
  • Enjoy the outdoor attractions whilst the sun is shining, such as the Fantasyland attractions, Adventure Isle or Thunder Mesa Riverboat Landing.  Why not try PanoraMagique, too?
  • Make sure you don't miss the parade! Try to stand so that the sun won't be in your eyes.
  • Look out for a beautiful sunset.

Forecast: Hot

  • Make sure you're wearing cool, comfy clothing and plenty of sun protection such as hats, glasses and cream. You must keep your shirt and shoes on at all times whilst in the parks.
  • Take plenty of water into the parks and refill throughout the day. Water fountains can be found in Disneyland Park at Town Square, Central Plaza and in Fantasyland.
  • Take shade during the hottest hours of the day - enjoy an indoor show or ride attractions such as Pirates of the Caribbean and "it's a small world".  At Walt Disney Studios Park, the air-conditioned attractions and theatre shows are perfect to escape the sun.
  • Don't try to do too much in a single day, and plan your itinerary so that no running across the parks is required! Just take it slow, relax and enjoy the magic.

Forecast: Rain

  • As soon as Paris was chosen as the location of the European Magic Kingdom, the Imagineers immediately got to work solving the problems of its long rain showers and cloudy days. Almost all of the attractions of Walt Disney Studios Park are undercover, and Disneyland Park has been designed with countless clever touches to make sure the weather won't ruin your day...
  • On Main Street, Liberty Arcade and Discovery Arcade have been designed to shelter guests on wet days, whilst countless covered walkways, canopies and shelters can be found all across the park.  Walk-through attractions such as La Gallerie de la Belle au Bois Dormant and Le Passage Enchanté d'Aladdin also provide welcome cover from the rain.
  • Did you know - you can get from the park entrance to Pirates of the Caribbean without getting a single drop of rain on you? When you enter, head past City Hall and straight into Liberty Arcade.  At the end of the arcade, turn left into Thunder Mesa Express passage and head through Fort Comstock, around the winding, covered paths bordering Central Plaza and into Adventureland Bazaar.  Dash across the courtyard and under the covered walkway behind Les Trésors du Shéhérazade boutique, which then leads to Pirates of the Caribbean and Peter Pan's Flight, right at the back of the park! If you'd like to get to Phantom Manor instead, turn left when you get to Fort Comstock and walk along the covered wooden porches of the Western storefronts.
  • If forecasts suggest rain on only one day of your visit, you might want to visit Walt Disney Studios Park on this day, since all but two attractions are indoors or covered.
  • Above all - don't let the rain overshadow the magic! Parades should still be running, characters will be out, and all the attractions keep on going. It takes much more than a little April shower to dampen the magic of Disney!

Forecast: Cold

  • During the increasingly popular Winter months and Disney's Christmas Season at the resort, temperatures are at an all-time low. Whilst the minimum temperatures are certainly no lower than where most guests visit from, the large amount of time spent out in the cold can make the days seem particularly freezing.
  • Wrap up warm with gloves, hats, scarves and thermals.
  • Take lots of breaks in indoor areas to warm up from the cold, and drink lots of hot drinks!
  • Try to avoid the outdoor attractions instead head for indoor experiences such as Phantom Manor, Buzz Lightyear Laser Blast or the entirety of Walt Disney Studios Park. The tropical climate of Pirates of the Caribbean can also be particularly pleasant!
  • If you plan on standing outside for a long period to wait for a parade or show, why not get a hot drink first and take it along?

Forecast: Fog

  • During certain times of the year, fog rolls in across the resort and turns the Magic Kingdom into a whole new experience. If you wake up and peer out of the window of your Disney Hotel to see nothing but a white cloud, don't worry! The parks should still be operating as normal, and you'll have a chance to experience a unique day at a Disney Park.
  • During daytime fog, first admire the unique view of Main Street - without the castle! - before heading for Frontierland and see the eerie Phantom Manor through the mist, as the cloudy steam of the Riverboats rolls past. Over in Adventureland, Skull Rock and Captain Hook's Galley never looked more spectacular!
  • On a foggy night, head straight for Discoveryland. The colourful neon and mystical Space Mountain glow through the mist to create a fantastic vision of the future, as if you've just stepped into one of the original concept arts! Walt Disney Studios Park is also particularly spectacular, with it's circling searchlights and looming Tower of Terror.
