Step into the "Italian" quarter of Fantasyland and follow Pinocchio on his fantastic adventure across wide, open seas and perilous encounters with shady characters...
Right next to Blanche-Neige et les Sept Nains, you find another classic, old-fashioned "dark ride" leading you through a beloved Disney tale. Les Voyages de Pinocchio adopts a similar dark tone in several of its scenes, but has the benefit of Pinocchio's lively puppet show, the colours of Pleasure Island and the clockwork frenzy of Gepetto's workshop to overall create a more energetic and arguably more re-ridable experience.
Added to the original Fantasyland line-up as late as 1982, the attraction enjoys more impressive effects than its neighbour and, in Paris, a different dark ride system which appears to make your six-seater vehicle "swerve" around corners, as if rushing to escape all that is out to capture the innocence of Pinocchio.
Though by no means a "must-see" experience, as one of the park's secondary attractions Les Voyages de Pinocchio is a nostalgic delight and the more rewarding of these two classics.
